城市雕塑优秀奖五羊石像
1956年，广州市市长朱光向尹积昌建议在越秀山建五羊石雕像。这是一座反映古代广州历史的美丽神话和广州人民民族文化心理的城市石雕。工程浩大，任务艰巨，经过反复论证，几次改变设计方案，终于与陈本宗、孔繁伟一起完成了石雕设计的标准稿，并得到市有关建设部门协作，于1960年4月完成施工。
五羊石像获得巨大成功，被群众誉为广州市的城市标志，于1987年获得全国首届城市雕塑优秀奖。1999年，该雕像被评为广州文物保护单位.

In 1956, the Mayor of Guangzhou Zhu Yin Chang suggested the plot was built in Yuexiu Mountain Wuyang stone statue. This is a reflection of the beautiful mythology of ancient history in Guangzhou and the Guangzhou cultural psychology of the people of the city stone.
